IntroductionIn lesson 3 you learned about the earth's spheres. Each one of these spheres has elements, or natural resources, that are critical to our survival. They include the air that we breathe, the water that we drink, and the food that we eat. Our homes, the fuel that keeps us warm, and our transportation are all derived from natural resources. This lesson focuses on a few of the resources that we rely on every day to survive, and the impact of protection and conservation efforts. Before proceeding with the lesson, view the slideshow below called The Earth's Bounty. It will give you an overview of the natural resources that will be discussed throughout the rest of this lesson.
