- Be Prepared With Your Business Proposal - Make it brief |
·
The most important quality of your business proposal is
succinctness. A business proposal that is longer than thirty pages, excluding
the financial exhibits, is probably too long.
·
For your proposal to be ahead of the pack, it should
eliminate as much work as possible for the Venture Capitalist.
·
Don't include fraudulent or misleading information in
your proposal.
·
If you fail to disclose a material item, the Venture
Capitalist may be able to demand all of his money back; or worse, if the
business fails, he could have a legal basis to sue you personally.

Capitalist's trust is the worst thing that can happen to an entrepreneur.
