FREE online courses on Quality by Design - Design Process - Design Output
The requirements contained in design description document are
translated into design outputs during the design process, in the form of
specifications, drawings, instructions, software, service procedures related to
product, inputs and processes.
The outputs of the design are the final specifications used
for purchasing, production, installation, inspection, testing and servicing.
They must be reviewed before release.
The design output should be documented in such a way so that
it can be verified and validated against design input requirements. Design output should be able to meet the
design input requirements, make reference to acceptance criteria and identify
those characteristics of the design that are crucial to the safe and proper
functioning of the product.
