Control
The design of product may be changed or modified for a number
of reasons, for example, due to calculation error, manufacturing difficulty,
material supplier's request, performance improvement, safety requirements, etc.
Any change to design inputs should be identified and reviewed
by the design project leader to determine whether they influence previously
approved design verification results.
Documented procedure should provide for necessary approvals,
specified points and times for implementing changes, removing obsolete drawings
and specifications from work areas and verification that changes are made at the
appointed time and places.
