FREE online courses on Quality Management System - How to Implement ISO 9000 Quality Management System - Phase 4 Internal Quality Audit and Stabilisation Step 9 Quality audit The Quality Council continuously monitors implementation of the system and progress is reported to top management. After about three to four weeks of implementation, first internal quality audit is conducted by consultant/internal auditors. Findings of the audit are reported to the management and concerned departments. Step 10 Corrective action Based on the observations of the auditor, corrective actions are taken by the concerned people to rectify the deficiencies and non-conformance identified in the processes and systems. Step 11 Stabilisation To ensure that the new way of working becomes a natural habit of the people, concerned people periodically review performance of the quality system implementation. Based on the review outcome, appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken to make sure that the new system is fully practiced by all employees of the company and has become stable. |
