As a point of information, the Venture Capitalist may be interested in trade associations for your industry. He may also want to know which trade magazines and trade newspapers are good ones, so that he can read the previous issues to learn more about your business.
You should include pictures of the product and literature about the company that will show off your product or service. Written descriptions in the business proposal are essential, but pictures will also help sell your proposal. A general article about the industry or about competitive products compared to your product is a useful addition. Newspaper articles or magazine pieces on the company are probably unnecessary and do not say much to a Venture Capitalist. It is advisable to leave them out. Sending along tapes, records or other promotional audio-visual items is a waste of money and time; do not do it. |
