·
A cover letter must always accompany your resume
when mailing it, or when application procedures specify. ·
Each cover letter must be individually written to
focus your skills, experiences, abilities, and career interests towards that
position and that employer. Do not produce form letters. ·
It must be perfect in terms of spelling,
punctuation, grammar, etc. because it is a sample of your writing skills. · Confine to one page and about 3 or 5 paragraphs.
·
Produce on the same quality of paper as your resume
and reference sheet. · Don't forget to sign the letter and type "Enclosure" in bottom left margin if your resume is enclosed.
