The Extra Spark
At the same time, you might have noticed the noisy entry of Mr. Lively, making
room for himself, exchanging smiles and shaking hands with others. He draws his co-passengers into
conversation almost immediately, kicking up a controversial topic. He shakes up
the whole group. Jokes, heated debates, interesting anecdotes follow in quick
succession. People open up more freely; they begin to relish not only the tea
that comes in between but also his company. We also try to come out of the shell
and begin to share our concerns with others. The show comes to an end, the
moment Mr. Lively says good-bye and gets down the train. Long after the train
journey is over we still remember Mr. Lively, his face, his conversation style
and his mannerisms and begin to wonder why we could not emulate him in personal
life.
