Customer satisfaction is “an overall evaluation based on the total
purchase and consumption experience with a good or service over time”. A

Hyundai Motor India has closed the calendar year 1999 on December 22 with
total sales of 60,321 units. It has entered the New Year with a healthy combined
order backlog of over 7000 cars for both Santro and Hyundai Accent and is keenly
poised to reinforce its position in the Indian automobile market.
All the machines in the factory are fully computerized and
numerically controlled, with automated machines to check critical dimensions and
detect defects. Quality check is also ensured at an 800-metre test track in the
plant where the engineering and quality control teams run acceleration, rattling
and noise-tests.
Hyundai motor also established a start-up network of 70 dealer workshops,
equipped with latest technology machinery and international quality press,
body and paint shops, across the country. These dealer workshops, including
three-company-owned outlets called “Hyundai
Motor Plaza”, provide a Hyundai Customer a one-stop shop for
meeting all his needs. With a focus on the future and ambitions growth plan,
Hyundai motor has decided to add to this network to increase the reach
of the company.
